PICTORIAL PROJECT

“LET’S GET TO WORK”

by

MARTA DEL RIEITHER

Marta del Río has been commissioned to execute the mural paintings.

of the Altar and the central Nave of the Cathedral of Justo Gallego.

The power of hands is the common thread and communicator of the project and symbolizes

the material “realization” of the willpower of the heart.

It is a call to action.

The painting will be imbued with great symbolism,

conveying messages that are understandable to all audiences

Thanks to its aesthetic and simple pictorial style of childlike and colorful lines in keeping with the constructive format that frames it.

The composition will be austere, free of all ornamentation.unnecessary ment.

In order to create a harmony of style and comprehensive thematic coherence,

andThe painting project will be entirely about:

-Walls, arches and columns

-Pictorial surface extension
