“LET’S GET TO WORK”

Marta del Río has been commissioned to execute the mural paintings

of the Altar and the Central Nave of the Cathedral by Justo Gallego.

The power of hands is the guiding thread of the project and symbolizes

the material “realization” of the heart’s willpower.


It is a call to action.



The pictorial work will be endowed with great symbolism,

transmitting messages that are understandable to all audiences

thanks to its aesthetics and simple pictorial style with childlike and colorful lines in keeping with the constructive format that frames it.

The composition will be austere, free of all ornamentation.unnecessary ment.


In order to create a harmony of style and comprehensive thematic coherence,

-Pictorial surface extension
